Tell Me

Cast me a spell or grant me a wish but tell me no lies for I know what chamber in which your secrets hide. I don’t want to ear all your truths but tell me stories of good triumphing over evil or stories of golden skies and diamond filled oceans but don’t tell me a lie. Speak in your native tongue tell me historical truths of a mystical promise land and don’t hesitate to whisper their secret sounds of the supernatural, in the midst of all that I forbid you to tell me any lies. I once heard your voice reach soft spiritual tones but I won’t beg to hear you sing beautiful words for I want to hear nothing but your beautiful lies.
