Glass Moon

I hope she’s as faithful as she is beautiful for I have to catch myself from drowning in her enchanting eyes. I watch her as she doesn’t realize I just fantasized about her being my moon, forever leaving me heart broken whenever she isn’t full, forever leaving me to shine over someone else when dark clouds follow. The beauty of her goes beyond the fibers of her skin or the tone in which she speaks, her beauty blinds my every sense to comprehend the superficial things that I normally see. I navigate through the night without the full help my everlasting moon but there’s no need to label what isn’t mine.
